At the very heart of our business and fundamental to your safety and enjoyment, are the mountain trekking guides we have. All of our guides are hand-picked by us to ensure you get the very best leadership on the mountain.
All our guides are Licensed by the National Park and are certified to conduct climbing expeditions in Kenya.
Our guides conduct health checks each and every time during the climb to ensure that you are on your level best and more importantly feel confident to reach the mountain peak.
We carry with us medical kits, and portable stretcher on all our Mt. Kenya climbs.
We have established protocols in place for handling all sort of emergencies on the mountain, including rescue and evacuation if necessary.
Our Team Of Professional Mountain Guides
Here at Climbing Mount Kenya, we employ the best mountain talents in the region. All our guides have Wilderness First Responder certifications, and they are employed by Climbing Mount Kenya full time. We regularly conduct professional workshops for them to hone their skills and make sure that they are always tuned to the most recent developments in international mountaineering.

We are a team of adventure enthusiasts who love everything about Kenya. Our local presence is exactly what makes it possible for Climbing Mount Kenya to give accurate, competent and up-to-date travel advice to our clients and to ensure the highest comfort and safety standards in our expeditions. We are not a travel agency that simply resells travel packages – we organize and run all trips by ourselves.
Today we have over 100 people field professionals – guides, porters, camp masters and cooks – all working on our Mount Kenya expeditions and in the national parks.
